About

Off the Clock

I’m a dad of four awesome little kiddos who don’t yet appreciate the genius of Led Zeppelin or Queen. I love music and am pretty sure I could still play the drums if I sat down at a kit again.

We moved to San Antonio, TX in 2025 after 15 years in Austin and are loving it so far. My weekends are filled with rec leagues and home improvement projects.

On the Clock

I don’t just design screens.

I enjoy discovering the messy reality of how services actually function.

I’ve spent the last decade in the middle of healthcare and education—two of the most frustrated, high-stakes industries in the US. In my career, I’ve sat shoulder-to-shoulder with nurses and faculty members to watch how administrative burden can ruin their day. I have experienced when systems fail the people they are supposed to help.

Grad school taught me the most important resource in any highly regulated industry is the people within it. Design school taught me how to harness my abilities to create positive experiences for those people. And my career stops have taught me how to use my influence to amplify systemic change across the industry.
