Partner Integration

Project in progress!

Problem

Since 2020, more degree programs have moved to an online or hybrid model of instruction. This is also true of programs like Teacher Education, where a lot of the feedback for students needs to happen inside the classroom that the student teacher is teaching in.

With the help of tools like GoReact, student teachers can teach in schools around the country and their instructors can evaluate them through a video recording platform asynchronously or in real-time.

Our company partnered with GoReact to boost the value to our mutual user base and appeal to those who only had 1 product.

Goal

The first version of this integration lacked the “tightness” that our customers were craving. There were two main issues to tackle:

  1. Clearing up technical misunderstandings with GoReact so that the integration could be more seamless. Updating to new LTI standards, increasing communication between dev teams across companies {Anand + Pete}.

  2. Disjointed/Disconnected experience - 2 distinct products = more cognitive load and switching, stop/start experience, too many opportunities to mess up.

Version 1 vs. Version 2
